On June 30, 2024, Mall Way Event Center proudly opened its doors to the community of Everett, marking the occasion with a grand celebration that was nothing short of spectacular. The event was graced by the presence of the Mayor of Everett and other esteemed townspeople, adding to the significance of this milestone.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the vibrant sounds of live music, setting a festive tone for the day. Families danced joyously at the center stage, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration. The venue was beautifully adorned with up to 100 well-decorated seats, each holding half a dozen people. Tables were elegantly dressed with high-quality tablecloths, vases filled with fresh flowers, and a delightful array of food assortments and beverages, offering guests a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
Food vendors and caterers were strategically placed around the venue, providing a variety of culinary delights that catered to every taste. The grand opening also highlighted the cultural heritage and achievements of the venue’s owners, Demba and Isatou Baldeh. As Gambians, the Baldehs have woven their rich cultural traditions into the fabric of the event center, making it a true celebration of their accomplishments and heritage.
